I had a great stay at the Youth Hostel in Bern. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the old town and right by the river. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, and the lockers provided ample storage space. I also appreciated the free local transport pass, which made getting around the city a breeze. The breakfast provided was good, although there could have been a few more options. I would recommend this hostel for its convenient location and comfortable accommodations.

It is close to the main train staion, but it is difficult to find it. It is better to get the information fro the info room at 1st floor at the train station.
I dont like the shared toilet and bathroom, it is not convenient for a family.

The location of the hostel was great, it was centrally located and easy to access all the tourist spots in the city. the hostel was clean and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable stay. - the staff at the hostel were friendly and helpful, which added to the pleasant atmosphere of the place.
The wifi signal was weak, especially in the rooms, making it difficult to stay connected and use the internet. The breakfast options were limited, mainly consisting of carbohydrates and not much variety.

Their facilities are very nice, I prefer the self-service here, and breakfast and dinning hall is comfortable, and its location is prefect!
there is no fork for eating....

The riverside location makes it a bit tricky to find, but the calm atmosphere and helpful staff make up for it. They provide a 24-hour transit pass and the breakfast is decent. a good deal for the price.

Friendly English speaking staff. Quite good breakfast - corns, yogurt, tosts, coffee, juice etc. An opportunity to have a lunch for nice price. You can cook for yourself, there was a microwave oven and a kettle, but only one. The beds were comfortable for tall people. Great location!! 10 minutes from the central railway station, 1 minute from the most beautiful river we've ever seen. Free public swimming pool, fresh air. The price was good for Switzerland. Many young people from all over the world, great experience.
The hostel is situated by the foot of the hill, so we had to go down with our luggage. Tiny room, low ceiling, no air ventilation, very stuffy. No mirror and cabinet, just a table and two chairs. We were three lucky beggars to live in the room for four people. Wi fi wasn't working, just public pc. No towels (extra pay!) and shower facilities in the bathroom, but there were many bugs and one big cockroach... Ac outlet wasn't fit to our devices, so if you wanted to charge your mobile phone or camera you would pay for an adapter. Old linen. Very noisy yard, there were many people who sat all the night and talked loudly. Unfortunately the level of comfort was lower than the price. We wouldn't recommend this hostel to other tourists and would never stay there again.

We had an incredible view from our room, overlooking the riverside and the stunning cityscape. the location was ideal, close to the city center and with easy access to public transportation. the hostel provided a travel pass, which was extremely useful for exploring the area. the beds were comfortable and the rooms had spacious lockers for our belongings.
The toilet design could have been more pleasant, with a drier floor area.

Good location, as long as you can find the place. If not you can ask people in the neighbourhood. It could be a bit tiring if you climb up from the hostel to parliament,of course you can take cablecar(or tram?), which costs 1.2 chf per ticket.
No wifi signal in the third floor.breakfast could be better.6euro per person if you are not a member. I paid overall 170+ for a 4 people private suite, which makes it the most expensive accommodation among the hotels n hostels of the same standard or better I've ever stayed.

We had a fantastic stay at the Bern Youth Hostel. The location was ideal, just a short walk from the city center. The highlight was definitely the travel card provided, which allowed us to explore Bern for free. The included breakfast was delicious and provided a great start to the day. The staff were extremely helpful and gave us lots of useful information and tips. The room may have been basic, but it was clean and comfortable. we had a great experience at the Youth Hostel and would definitely recommend it.
